I consider myself a modern-day Renaissance woman. While my primary profession is leading software engineering organizations, I am fundamentally a maker and have a deep passion for innovation and creating with technology. I believe in the philosophy of working hard to play hard, and am constantly dreaming up new projects and adventures to push my physical, intellectual, and creative boundaries. I believe and practice the Plan-Do-Reflect model for achieving BHAGs (Big, Hairy, Ambitious Goals).

Life is short, and my approach is simple: if something doesn’t work, pivot and try something new.

I created this site in September of 2017 as a platform to explore projects I've always wanted to tackle and to showcase some of my adventures. This site is designed to be a work in progress. There are To-Do notes scattered throughout. That's intentional.

Perfection was never the goal.

Growing up, my hair was strawberry blonde - or as most people described it - bright orange. I was a bit of a tomboy and loved superheroes. Jean Grey, aka The Phoenix, was also a flaming orange-head.
